Procrastination

Our body's ability to store body fat is almost limitless. Much of our excess body fat is stored as subcutaneous (under the skin) but there is also fat storage around the kidneys, liver and even inside muscle. In fact, as we age, fat storage within muscle tends to increase and means we don’t notice it as much as when it's sitting around our waists. The fat can be seen on the picture above as the white tissue surrounding the muscles and organs.
Most of our stored body fat serves energy reservoir which is readily available for use when food is scarce. The problem is food is abundant and our appetites large. This is the precise reason why there is an obesity epidemic, particularly in North America.
Excess body fat can be the primary cause of a host of problems not limited to high cholesterol, heart disease and high blood pressure. So stop procrastinating!
